Really its cool to publish stuff at DA. The more active you are visiting places, subscribing and commenting, the more visitors you'll get. You'll get lots of helpful criticism and hints. That's what I find most refreshing with DA. Of course when you expose your chin you sometimes will receive a punch as well. But that can also be a good experience.
